VIRTUAL Twins and Multiples Breastfeeding Class

$50.00
VIRTUAL  Special Addition's Twins and Multiples Breastfeeding Class helps prepare you for success in breastfeeding your babies!  Registrations must be made 48 hours in advance of actual class.

Special Addition's Twins and Multiples Breastfeeding Class helps prepare you with information for breastfeeding success. Breastfeeding twins and multiples can be done. You can breastfeed more than one baby; however, having the best breastfeeding information greatly impacts your success in doing so!   Because twins and multiples often arrive early, you should know what to expect during a longer hospital stay as well as what to expect once you are at home.   The first weeks after your babies' arrival are extremely important, and our Twins and Multiples Breastfeeding Class helps prepare you for a whole new world with your babies.

Susan Nelson, IBCLC, RLC

After obtaining her MS in Computer Science and later breastfeeding her own two children, Susan decided in 2008 that she would prefer working with mothers and babies more than with computers.  She then set out on the long educational pathway  to become certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).   In addition to seeing lactation clients in her office or in the client’s home, Susan currently teaches Returning to Work Classes at Special Addition  Another specialized area that Susan enjoys is working with adoptive families for inducing lactation as well as offering Lactation Professional Training for nursing and other professions.  Susan also has been a volunteer leader for La Leche League support groups for many years.

When not working with moms and babies in a consultations or teaching classes at Special Addition, Susan enjoys time with her husband in dance classes and caring for her two home babies (her cats) while attempting to get away to visit her two grown children (both of whom were breastfed) – one living in Europe and one in Illinois.  In her free time, she also enjoys Sudoko!
